Savane Design + Build is a boutique architecture and construction firm located in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood, specializing in high-end residential and commercial design. With a team of eleven including partners, senior architects, project managers, and field staff, Savane relies on a technology environment capable of supporting demanding Autodesk workflows, remote project team access, and the day-to-day operations of a fast-moving design practice.

CompAdvise conducted a comprehensive on-site IT assessment of Savane's corporate office in Chicago, evaluating the firm's existing network infrastructure, workstations, storage, and software licensing. The assessment identified several critical gaps and produced a prioritized roadmap to bring the environment to a secure, reliable, business-grade standard. Our scope of work includes the deployment of an enterprise firewall with VPN, managed wireless, a new network switch, and a refreshed shared storage platform with offsite replication to the CompAdvise cloud-managed backup service. Workstation replacements were specified to support the firm's Autodesk Revit and design software requirements, and all systems are being enrolled in centrally managed endpoint protection. Savane is transitioning to a CompAdvise monthly managed services retainer, providing ongoing network monitoring, backup health reporting, endpoint management, and responsive desktop support — giving the firm's leadership a reliable technology partner and predictable IT costs as the practice continues to grow.
