CompAdvise supported Slate’s new 31st-floor office at 150 North Wacker Drive by delivering and installing the Cisco Meraki network infrastructure, mounting equipment in the IT rack, and integrating an APC Smart-UPS Online backup power system with rack power distribution. Our team patched and verified the office cabling into the network, implemented a resilient patching approach to improve continuity in the event of hardware failure, and validated WAN connectivity using a temporary cellular uplink to support downstream testing and programming. We also performed Comcast fiber service expediting to secure circuit activation earlier than the original provider timeline, completed on-site walkthroughs to confirm workstation terminations and labeling, Wi-Fi access point placement, and conference room connectivity readiness, captured MDF before/after and office photos, and provided detailed port-mapping documentation and closeout materials to support ISP turn-up, AV programming, and staff move-in readiness.
